Requirements
- The candidate should have a solid grounding in quantitative research methodology.
- MRS qualifications an advantage though not a strict requirement.
Questionnaire design
- Although our questionnaires are fairly standardised, there is always a need for tailoring according to individual client requirements, so the candidate should have good skills in this area.
Project management
- The candidate should be able to manage vendors and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Experience of handling the financial side of project management an advantage, though not a strict requirement.
DP
- The candidate should be able to write tab specifications and should have basic skills in SPSS, allowing for probing of the data beyond the tabular level.
Report writing
- Proven track record of ability to produce reports that are 90% client ready is essential.
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Our reporting, most of which is done in PowerPoint, often needs to be tailored to meet the requirements of individual clients and we firmly believe that aesthetics matter. Presentations need to be convincing not only in terms of content but also appearance.
Typical tasks
- Day-to-day co-management of high-profile, bi-monthly tracking study in a conflict area of the world: liaising with client/vendor, questionnaire design, data checking, report writing/charting and occasionally face-to-face presentation of results.
- Support AD and consultants on projects focusing on the evaluation of holistic communications campaigns: acquire fieldwork quotes, questionnaire design, writing DP specs, checking tables/data, analysing tables, charting, reporting and presenting insights.
- Execution of media content analysis on behalf of leading cancer charity: establish message content of media coverage and work with media agency to estimate level of exposure achieved.
- Desk research for luxury brand seeking to identify new areas for CSR activity.
